Wing mirrors

our electric wing mirrors move around at higher speeds do not lock out fully. Any way of stoppiing this beside going slower.

hi it sounds like you need to repair the locking mech on them

mikeonb4c had to do his and i'm sure he will be along very soon to tell you how to repair them

try just pulling them towards the front (like they're going the wrong way) the motor should kick in & resynchronise if the internals are ok.

That's my best suggestion. I did repair mine but it was fiddly and the repair didn't last long (even though I reckoned I'd done a good job :( Others have effected a successful long lasting repair so it can be done. But lets hope its not that. If it happened to me again (and no doubt it will as the mechanisms age) I'd be tempted to just fix it in the 'out' position as folding isn't really essential 8)
