Damage advice needed

Hi

A while back my Bongo received some damage to the back wheel arch. Having just forked out over £300 for an MOT, Service and two new new tyres I am a bit strapped for cash at the moment.

I have had quotes between £400-£700 for a complete spray of the side to blend it in.

I was hoping just to have it sprayed to stop it rusting, and then one day in the future get it knocked out and maybe then blended in.

Any ideas how I could get away with a cheap repair, bearing in mind I am not worried about it being filled or knocked out yet?

I've edited you link so that it works 8)
Why not just get an aerosol can from Bongo Shop? - you can find the relevant colour from the plate inside the passenger door frame. Get a proper job done when you can afford it :D

Ideally yes, so that the new paint can get a better grip. Just get some fine wet and dry paper (use it wet) to get rid of any rough/loose paint. A lot depends on how long the temporary repair is going to be for, but it would also be better to get a can of primer to apply before the coloured paint.

That shouldn't cost anywhere near that to repair....any decent bodyshop should do it without having to respray the whole side....If they use the panel lines and a bit of common sense,
