Hello all :) Having just returned from Callow Top Manda noticed an 1/2 price deal for late September into November.
So i booked me & Christine~Manda & Andy (Bulwell Bongoleers) in on the 15th/16th October.

We spent last weekend there & had a great time along with Steve (Nevets)
It's one of the best sites we've been to~clean~good facilities & pleasent staff~theres a pub/restaurant~cafe serving breakfast & snacks etc; (both will be open, but not the swimming pool.

Theres also direct access to the Tissington trail for country walks.
The pitch prices are £11 per night per unit which is (for me) Bongo, caravan & Awning or Bongo & awning including 2 people & are all hardstanding & electric.

If anyone is interested please book site direct 01335 344020 & mention Ray Pickering Bongo club & they will try to get us in the same area which is FIELD 2~please note site fees have to be paid in full at time of booking~of course everybody welcome.

Not that it's a problem, but this clashes with the club meet at Bakewell the same weekend.

Been thinking about this all day Ian~~~~~i for the life of me can't remember a meet at Bakewell in 2008~thats why i thought you probably did it as a one off in 2009~~but then again i'm probably mistaken as usual

Hi Ray
Just getting our act together having been on the continent for all of July and August. We think we should have another outing and are wondering if you are still meeting at Callow Top and if you think there may be places left. Know we've left it a bit late in the day and that the 'official' meet is full booked.

Nice to hear from you Richard/jo~hope you enjoyed your adventure :) were in field 2 but the pitches are all close to amenities eg. toilets showers etc; so if you could book fields 2~3 or 5 you'll be ok.
If the've got any vacancies there £11 per night including hookup & it really is a well run site~~~so Richard hope to see you both there.

Thanks for that!
We'll call the site tomorrow and probably book for Thur, Fri and Sat, if they have space, so we can do 2 days cycling.
