My Bongo developed a profuse water leak today from just below the Turbo - can anyone give any pointers before I start to strip it

From a hose? Need more detail

How did it happen? Why did it happen? have you been losing coolant? any other issues?
Whatever you do, make sure you know how to bleed it properly, info is on the forum if you do a search, or in the members area factsheets.

I'm hoping you can give me some guidance but it appears to be coming from a fitting on the underside of the turbo - any ideas where to look first?

It's a matter of getting in & seeing where it's coming from, take photos if you can, guidance for uploading them here -

There could be any number of places it could be leaking from, until you give us some more info, not a lot more to offer really except have a look & a feel to see where it's coming from, check it's not just a hose pinhole squirting up onto the turbo or a hose weep.

Try some dye. Go to your local plumbers.
Rather than waste time trawling the internet somewhere local will have it.

thanks everyone - problem sorted
It was a metal pipe from the turbo which had holed itself - sorted now and about to attempt to refill and bleed the system
