flashing glowplug light on dashboard

Hi, been a long time since I have needed to post but have an annoying problem here.
firstly our bongo was broken into last week, didn,t manage to steal it but caused lots of damage to the door (pulled it open crudely at top with crow bar ) they ripped open the ignition/wiring/housing, also blew the 60amp ignition fuse housed under bonnet. Managed to order a new ignition switch etc and 60amp fuse and fitted them. Also had to replace the drivers door.
The car started immediatley, but I noticed the glowplug light on dashboard did not go out infact it is flashing every second or so, even when driving along, at the same time the key activated (non remote) central locking no longer works, neither do any of the interior lights (have checked and no power getting to them) also radio not working.
I have taken the bongo to a well respected bongo friend and he has exhaustively gone through and checked all the main relays/fuses etc and changed over ecu to test and ecu all good.
All the above items worked before the attempted theft, does anybody have any clue as to what it might be.
any help will be greatfully received, regards Gary
