Crankshaft pulley bolt

Hi,
Does anyone know the thread direction of the bolt on the front of the crankshaft pulley please?

left hand to undo and I used brunt force and ignorance

No, it is a standard thread. Anticlockwise to undo. It is very tight. I used 2 lengths of scaffold pole. Good luck.
