Went to drop son off this afternoon and when he got out of the van he heard water................i got out and in the middle underneath there is a big metal pipe with a rubber hose on each end squirting hot water out!!!!!

Its the pipe that runs near the big housing. needless to say i wish i had a coolant alarm but that said it has to be fixed before August. Ive got a mechanic just need to source the right pipe and hoses. Can i get them from bongo fury or mazda itself
???
HELP PLEASE

it's the top hose "top of rad to cylinder head (under drivers seat)"
It starts with a rubber hose.....Rad to metal pipe
then metal pipe
Then rubber hose metal pipe to cylinder head.
Put all 3 together and you have the complete top hose system
Did the tempreture gauge move towards HOT ??

Now i know which hoses to get i am thinking maybe renew all the pipes top and bottom.......and fit a coolant alarm. It looks like the hoses are perished and would rather spend the money renewing it all as i dare say they are all the originals on the van.Looked on the cooling system diagram and i can see the top, bottom and a spaghetti of others. If you read this hayden could you advise is it 3 for the top (1 metal 2 rubber) andsame for bottom hoses please
I hope no damage was done to the head as temp guage rose to a cm before hot but i drove with heater on full wack on cold to try and keep it cool and also filled up res bottle for what it was worth. I am absolutely gutted.

from my experience if your hoses start to go,this indicates that the stat is not doing its job properly, sorry but just something else to look at.
