Bored with Butties phase 25
This is a quick interim snack for those of you who are clearly not already at the Bash. The reason this is a quickie is that I’m trying to get ready for the Bash myself. I dare you to try this at work
An Australian classic – no, not kangaroo kebabs or platypus pittas, but pie floater - a meat pie floating in a bowl of pea soup.
Now there’s a right way and a wrong way to do this. The right way is with pea soup....
....but tinned pea soup normally looks like dirty washing-up water. So do this instead....
....warm those peas up, give them some welly so they disintegrate even more than when you first opened the tin. No artificial colours here matey
Warming the pie is a bit of a conundrum in a Bongo, you could fry it....
....instead just take it into the office (or kitchen) and nuke it in the microwave
Carefully assemble and then satisfy DebbiePritch with a smiling face
Go on, I double dare you

Believe me, it was indeed tasty. There are some rather unpleasant side-effects I have been made aware of though, so don't do this one if you have an important business meeting in the afternoon. Or a job interviewcsmcqueen wrote:Why does this look so tasty to me ???

maybe only one tin of mushy peas then, to minimise the fall out

Actually that bottle of sos coch is now an ex-bottle of sos coch. The sos coch deployed on the pie was in fact from my reserve curry ketchup range in the fridgedebbiepritch wrote:P.P.S I'd just like to point out your sos coch bottle is the wrong way up
What do you mean you don't have more than one variety of sos coch on board?

That could be a new football chant, it's not like any of the muppets who've just played are worth singing about, is it?debbiepritch wrote:...there's only one sos coch
I can hear it now reverberating around the league terraces, "One sos coch, there's only one sos coch...."

I thought I had the patent on the Happy Meal Muz with my Macoroni Cheese, rocket & beetroot based creation?

Look's good to me, me and Amanda had the pleasure of sampling some of the delight's from this famous eaterie in Australia just outside Sydney at Woolloomooloo and if you were lucky you could be eating a pie next to Nicole Kidman and plenty more famous face's who frequent this establishment on a daily basis, check out the gallery

If you are ever in this area I would certainly reccomend a stop here BUT be warned get there early in the early hour's of the morning has the queue can be a couple of 100 yard's long because that's just how good they are.

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.
