This is a quick interim snack for those of you who are clearly not already at the Bash. The reason this is a quickie is that I’m trying to get ready for the Bash myself. I dare you to try this at work
An Australian classic – no, not kangaroo kebabs or platypus pittas, but pie floater

- a meat pie floating in a bowl of pea soup.

Now there’s a right way and a wrong way to do this. The right way is with pea soup....

....but tinned pea soup normally looks like dirty washing-up water. So do this instead....

....warm those peas up, give them some welly so they disintegrate even more than when you first opened the tin. No artificial colours here matey

Warming the pie is a bit of a conundrum in a Bongo, you could fry it....

....instead just take it into the office (or kitchen) and nuke it in the microwave

Carefully assemble and then satisfy DebbiePritch with a smiling face

Go on, I double dare you

Believe me, it was indeed tasty. There are some rather unpleasant side-effects I have been made aware of though, so don't do this one if you have an important business meeting in the afternoon. Or a job interview

Actually that bottle of sos coch is now an ex-bottle of sos coch. The sos coch deployed on the pie was in fact from my reserve curry ketchup range in the fridge
What do you mean you don't have more than one variety of sos coch on board?

That could be a new football chant, it's not like any of the muppets who've just played are worth singing about, is it?
I can hear it now reverberating around the league terraces, "One sos coch, there's only one sos coch...."
