Exhaust Blowing!

After our brief one night only appearance at the bash we popped to Oxford for Saturday night to meet some friends at a campsite in Oxfordshire, however on the way home the exhaust sounded much louder when under load.

Off on a trip to Wales in a fortnight so need to get this sorted as quick as poss! Had a quick poke around myself but can't work out exactly where the problem is, I suspect it might be one side of the flexible join and I'm pretty certain it's not the manifold stud problem.

I think I'll probably give LPG Imports a call tomorrow and see it they can get it in for a look this week as they were v good when they serviced it a month or so ago. Unless of course there is something blindingly obvious I should be doing myself!

Paul was on the train to Southampton when I spoke to him earlier, he is going to give me a call back to see when he can get it in for a look.

My only problem is that I'm working abroad all next week and then going away in it for the weekend on Friday so need it sorting this week really, fingers crossed he can get it in.

There is a stainless exhaust manufacturer in Walsall come off at the Ikea/Bescot junction and head toward Walsall, they are on the right, cant remember their name. They will make and fit a complete exhaust in 2-3 hours for less than the price of a complete mild steel system.

MIJ Performance....... you can spec the exhaust too........ I went for a normal sound not sporty and a standard exhaust tail pipe rather than a wild twin, square or big bore..... jobs a good 'un

Thanks, I had considered a SS system but unfortunately I need it doing before the weekend as I'm working away next week and taking the bongo for a weekend away a week on Friday. I work in Coventry and Live in Bromsgrove and can't really get any time off to sort it.

A mild steel fix by LPG imports will be just the job purely for convenience, I am thinking it is just the flexi bit so shouldn't be too bad.
