Leaking hose

Hi

I noticed a small amount of oil on my driveway, upon investigation I noticed oil was leaking from the top joint of the rubber hose which connects to the transmission, I attached a new jubilee clip hoping that would do the trick, looking at the hose today I noted the bottom of the hose now has oil weeping from it, any suggestions please.
Images can be found on my website as I can't seem to upload them here.

Thankls in advance

Looks like the hose has been replaced, wonder if it's the right size & grade to cope with the transmission oil? could be hte spigots weren't cleaned up properly?

Hi

Thanks for your reply.
The hose came up new looking when I cleaned off the oil with a rag, I notice now all along the sump gasket area it is wet looking with oil, the other day this area was bone dry, just wondering if a build up of pressure is somehow to blame.
I have had the van for a year with no problems at all, although I hardly use it

Cheers

Tom

First thing I'd do is change the oil, dropping the sump & cleaning the filter - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =3&t=30096, check the connections etc while it's being done & check the hose is the right grade & not breaking down or anything.
