Pump/electric making noise?

Post by lindalove » Fri Jul 23, 2010 12:10 pm

Hi when we switch our electrics on in our Wellhouse full leisure conversion we have started to hear a low buzzing coming from we think the water pump. It sounds like it's permanently trying to pump water- we're certain it never made this noise before.
When we switch the water on in the sink it pumps fine generally - though we've had a low battery a couple if times when it stopped, could we have damaged it?
Is there anyone in London who could check it out?

There is a microswitch in the tap which should start the pump when you turn the tap on, I have had one go wrong, it sounds like the pump is running all the time, which would run the battery down, as well as being bad for the pump.

Anyone who services motorhomes should know what they are looking for.
When asked about Western Civilisation, Ghandi said 'that would be a good idea'...

Okay I will look to see if I can find someone locally who will look at this. It is quite weird, as we never had that noise before!

Thanks
