Cartmel Race Weekend, 26th - 29th August

Post by PixieAndTheMoon » Tue Jul 27, 2010 10:13 am

Anyone fancy it? I don't see it clashing with anything else going on in the North West (Slap me down if it is)

26th - 29th of August or longer we can be flexible

http://www.cartmelraces.com << For those the like the gi gi's, it is about a mile or so walk from the field or parking at the event is easy. A good enough excuse for another bash? :D

"The" place to stay: The Idillic setting of Allithwaite Playing Field, eight hook up's available

Having failed to make it to Allithwaite this weekend for our first ever outing, (and the pictures made it look so appealing) we will try and get there.

A few to many minor jobs needed doing, we have only had the Bongo a week.

As it is the Bank Holiday weekend, and it will be impossible to get on a campsite anywhere else, I'm up for this.

Hookup please.

Can we include Sunday night as well?

Hi Colin,

We will not be camped at Cartmel race course. We will be on a community field in neibouring Allithwaite. We have a couple of bashes there before and this year we were able to put eight hook ups on it. The picture I posted is where we plan to camp

We probably won't be able to make this one Jo, as we're planning on going to the other big North West event that weekend - Solfest in West Cumbria :D (Consider yourself slapped! )

Really enjoyed the steam weekend meet though (despite the rather disappointing weather!), and will try to get to lots more meets...
