alternater packed up

Thats it Bongo been back on road for a week and now the alternator has packed up,any ideas where to get good replacement,cheers gary....

Not exactly BUT avoid the cheapies on ebay. Had one & the front bearings self destructed in a month. Had it rebuilt but burnt out after a year.
My latest replacement was from Bongobits 18 months ago, its been as good as gold ever since - Worth spending the extra few quid on IMHO. (Alternative sources are also available, including the Club Shop.)

Got mine from the alternator and starter motor company in plymouth, very good deal too.

Me too. It was £120 + postage and did not have send my old alternator back to them so have one for refurb and back-up. Still going strong.
