bongo cutting out

Hi my bongo is cutting out all ignition lights off.

I have got her home and got it to start after turning key many times lights came on and she started then cut out again. After a bit more fiddling about i can now start her but if i try to endgage drive or reverse etc she cuts out and same sinareo no lights on dash when i turn key, heater radio etcv still comming on ok. Aslo of i try to raise roof when she is running same thing happens

I have tryed to expalin htis best i can hope someone can help cheers Brian

oooo she also has a immobiliser fitted

Was the immobiliser fitted recently? definitely the place I'd start looking first.

OK, back to your problem - what engine is fitted? Also, if you put your location in your profile, local help may be available 8)
As Kirsty says, the immobiliser is favourite, but I'm not sure that that would extinguish all of the dash lights :?

Hi sorry for the lack of informtion its diesel and i live just north of inverness

it now appears to be no ignition lights the radio fan etc are comming on and it will turn over but no lights on the dash the relay in the inner wing is clicking when i turn on ignition is there a sensor on the gear selector or roof that could cause this

You can't be far from Donald (Brorabongo) then, as his web name suggests he lives in Brora. Perhaps he could put you on to the garage that looks after his bongo for him.

thanks to all it was the immobiliser in the end so now got fuel cut off and twin battery isolaters instead.
