Hi, been told by the garage that i need an 'ambient air temperature sensor' which is attached to the front panel, something to do with the air conditioning :?: Its a Denso part, no. 5826623-3800. Tried the local mazda dealer and they dont have the part listed #-o Any idea's where i can get this from.

Thanks Izzy

Has the Mazda one already embedded in the front fascia (little grill, botton left), and part-controlling the aircon (there's also a "greenhouse effect" hot sun sensor, top right just under the windscreen) failed?

Hi,

Look at lushprojects for the mazda part number. Then ask Ian here on the bongo shop, or AVA leisure, Japanese auto parts etc. Someone will be able to supply it I'm sure but a number they can look up on their systems will be more useful.

I'm trying to pack for a break, quick search I couldn't see it in lushprojects but it often takes time to find there so it maybe down to calling around and finding someone that can supply.

Good luck.

Andy

I had a look in the lushprojects parts diagrams/lists but couldn't find it Andy. I assume it's somewhere in the wiring diagram "Heater & auto A/C control System" in the online wiring manuals available via the "Members' Area" here. Anybody expert enough with those, part Japanese-labelled, diagrams to spot it?
