I am going to replace the no.1 stud and no.8 stud on exhaust manifold should i replace the gasket and the rest of the studs and nuts at the same time?
I recently blanked off the EGR and managed to break the nipple on the air pipe and the green check valve above,

I have temp repaired with silicone tube and check valve from the pet shop and drilled hole in airpipe stuck a nibble into it and connected to silicone tube. am i doing damage driving my bongo? Is the air from the air pipe pushing into the switch or pulling out of the switch, ie which direction should the arrow be pointing?
The garage has put in so much oil it reads higher than maximum should i be trying to take some out to bring in down?

Hey up Arranlass,
I like to keep my engine oil a couple of mill before the max line (checked when cold, or stood for a while.) I think that too much oil can knacker the turbo...? (I hope thats correct.) Not being a techie myself & bearing in mind pressure & stuff like that i would never over do the max on the oil...
Unless you are talking about the gearbox oil then i normally check up to temp after a run, while the engine is still running.. If that's right!??

hi i did a no1 stud job recently, with pics and stuff.it was made into a fact sheet,it has all the part no.s on and alternative studs that you can use.make sure you use hot side studs, that are harder than coldside studs, inlet side.
problem is i dont know how to do the linky thing

the air valve you bust????is it on top of the egr unit???if yes then you could maybe just blank the pipe off altogether as it wont be needed now,the only thing is make sure the other pipe going to it is also blanked off,you need a complete air circuit to operate the other stuff like the fast idol on the fuel pump.so i guess im just saying make sure everything is airtight.
i would check the oil when cold,if its high drop a tad out or drag it out with a pela pump.
