I have V6 which has been converted to run on LPG,because of this I have no spare wheel. Does anyone have any good ideas where I could possible fit one, many thanks Pete.

I keep a 'skinny' under the back seat just to get me home or to the nearest tyre shopPete Mac wrote:I have V6 which has been converted to run on LPG,because of this I have no spare wheel. Does anyone have any good ideas where I could possible fit one, many thanks Pete.

Wow useful info already about the spare wheel and lpg which had not occurred to me; its an absolute must for me though to be able to justify running the vehicle so a smallish sacrifice - guess ill have to make sure I have the excellent roadside and relay rescue mentioned elsewhere in the forum!
Its possible to mount a space saver skinny on a ladder over the tailgate (try to source fresh rubber though - a 12 year old tyre that was crap when new will now be extremely dodgy) & could be useful for very short emergencies.
Plus stick some of This Stuff in the tyres, it pretty much makes them puncture proof.
