Northern Spain Part 3

Having done our shopping trip, and done all our sightseeing from the Bongo as there were NO parking spaces ANYWHERE we went I have no photos as I was sitting in the back and the windows are tinted.

More relaxing on the beach and a trip to San Vincente de la Barquera followed (while the chaps went off to Decathlon again for a new cycle rack as the mounting for our old one was bent)

Then all too soon (after a few more beach days and lots of games of rounders) it was time to head back for another lovely ferry journey home (after we had packed a wet tent after a night of rain!)

Bye bye Spain

Hello, and goodbye Billy (P&O's Pride of Bilbao going the other way)

Hello Cornwall (Cawsand in sunshine)

For good measure (and as a point of reference next time someone wants to know how big a Royal Traveller Tunnel Annexe is), here's a couple of piccies of the inside of the awning showing our alternative cooking arrangements as we had to take our removable kitchen out and put the seat back in for this trip so that we could accommodate the seven of us on days out.

That looks great Alison =D> =D> The longer ferry journey must have made the whole thing far more relaxing!! Hope you get Seymore sorted without too much bother. At least the rear step saved your bumper!!

Did you tidy up the tent just to take those photos? If not do you have Issac teathered to the back of the van!!

Looks like a great trip, love the pictures.

Just out of interest I am thinking of getting a Royal traveller annex as the space looks just about right for us,would you recommend it as a decent purchase? and is it a driveaway?

Andy

Looks like you had a great time despite the mishap :( Loved the Cable car/mountain photos not good with heights, my knees were going wobbly just looking at the pics

Hi Alison. Sorry to hear you've had a mishap :( , although have been off-forum for a bit, away on our first camp of the year (Brecon Beacons), so don't know the details. Our 5-nights Brecon trip, which was a tester to see if my still-iffy knees functioned well enough again in a Bongo sleeping situation, worked out well, so we're on the road again for much of the next couple of months :D

Meanwhile, hope Seymour isn't too bruised but most important thing is that you're all OK (?). Otherwise, looks like it was a great trip, and we look forward to seeing you/hearing more, some time next month - not sure if you'll be at Looe but, if not, our present plan* is to be at Merrose Farm CC site, Roseland Peninsula, part of the time, so maybe we'll catch up then.

Cor! Hasn't Isaac sprung up =D>

Cheers,

David and Di

*(Could change, due to uncertainty about Jon's wherabouts then - he'll either be in Falmouth, or over in S Devon as usual, depending on an assignment he's still sweating on.)

Very nice, northern Spain is so different from what most of us understand "Spain" to be. In fact, anywhere more than a mile or so from the coast is very different from what most of us understand "Spain" to be.

¡Magnifico!
