Excellent post Muz and team.
We saw a site very similar to that as we were travelling to a Day out in the Hills involving a steam train. Just wish I could remember what it was called.
It was past Fairbourne, along the coast for about 40 mins then inland a bit. The site was a narrow one but all with fantastic views of the sea as yours was. There was a Bongo on there as we past on our return trip to Barmouth and Tal-y-bont.

Found the Railway. It is a great day out where you can hop on and off ans visit the waterfalls, picnic areas and nature walks up the valley. Dogs are also permitted which was fab.

The "Coast" programme also mentioned a spit going out into the sea. Anyone know where that is?

There's supposed to be some more in the river Dovey estuary just to the north, but on private land so not accessible to the likes of me & thee

Great pics. as always. Where is that you are camped, overlooking the sea? We are thinking of Wales next.

There's also a Cae Du campsite near Beddgelert, don't confuse the two

Ah, that's better, I thought I'd lost the plot completely before, unless it was the new Channel Tunnel rail link extension
We went through Tywyn as well. Bums.
