thermostat with manual override

I just finished bleeding my bongo's cooling system after putting in a new radiator and thermostat, and it took over an hour to get the coolant hot enough to open the thermostat. I don't think that a thermostat that can be opened and closed at the press of a button exists, but wouldn't it be nice?

i know what you mean  having done a few myself.im not sure shortcutting the temp up bit would solve anything really,i think part of the successfull bleed relys on the coolant expanding when warmed to drive out the air.
there is another line on this that does just as you say and let the bongo bleed itself overnight with the cap off.im no advocate of this, but im saying there is always another way,how successfull im not sure.
the best thing about building the temp when bleeding is its just a short step away to test the full system functions, like the cooling fans, and let the motor pressure test itself at working temps/pressures.

It warms up pretty quickly if you take it for a short drive.
