After posting for help in locating a "bongo friendly" garage in or around my local area to do a coolant change, I had no leads, so, after much ummming and errrrring I have decided to let my usual MOT station have a go, He assures me that his vacuum pump system is a foolproof method of changing/flushing ANY coolant system, no matter the complexities. I have used this garage for some years with all mechanical needs for all of my vehicles, and they have not let me down yet, so I am confident he will come up trumps. He is also going to do an oil change/flush, fuel and air filter change, and also replace the n/s lower ball joint too........watch this space [-o<

Ordered the coolant online 2x5lts of carplan red
Ordered the oil online 2x5lts carlube 10W30
set of filters and lower ball joint from fleabay

Once all the bits get here, should be able to book it in end of next week!! :)

Print off a How To Bleed A Bongo factsheet and give it to him - just in case his system doesn`t work 100% - not worth finding out the hard way and ruining a cylinder head.

And/or stick the How To Bleed A Bongo video onto a DVD & force them to watch it.

Every little bit of info helps.

:D

that oils a bit thick for the winter months if its a diesel.in my opinion. 5w 30 would protect quicker on cold mornings.
