during a trip to the west country the side door stopped working; not wanting to touch it while i was away i put it in the garage when i got back, who fixed it by disconecting the microswitch so it operated like a normal van door( no automatic closing.) today when i was out i opened the door but couldnt get it shut until i removed the panel and pulled at the mechanism.. it shut and as i was in a rush i left it until i got home and now it will not open at all .. any ideas?

Usual cure is a well placed thump on the inside of the door :D It's a fairly common problem, so will show up with a search for side door 8)

Not jamming as such but certainly going to sleep, usually after a flat battery episode. As in the link that francophile posted up, a well placed & fairly firm thump will wake it up.
