Has the level dropped again? It could simply be a leak?

as ste says check the oil level, make sure you check it when its up to temp, with the engine running, and in park.check the colour, and does it smell like burnt toast.

I'd recommend a transmission fluid flush/change and filter clean, its surprising how much difference it can make to the way the car drives.

Oil level cannot effect gear change points as the transmission is electronically shifted. So whilst checking its condition & looking for a burnt smell is worthwhile, changing the oil to cure this problem is pure folly.
There may be a problem with the TPS or a speed sensor on the trans. More likely the former. Is the engine running right & delivering full power? If the engine is down on power the transmission will change late, if the engine is very down on power you will not be able to get the gearbox to change gear without backing off the throttle. Very common. Is the hold light flashing (if indeed the hold light works).

Similar thoughts to Alacrity.........................although a TPS fault won't always show up as a HOLD light flashing. Would be a good idea to interrogate the ECU - info in the fact sheets
