Bongo Fury

Just had a look around at the alloy situation, and the smartest wheels by far are the rx8 origionals.
Here is the question! how do we know if those wheels can cope with the wieght of a bongo as the two must be massively different. also would the fitting of them compromise the bongo's ability to get off a wet camping field. Thanks guys

Many have had these. Tried & tested over the years.

They work well, look the Bees Knees & as long as the right tyre source is found - you won't get a finer combination.

plenty of bongo's have rx8 wheels on so they should be fine

I think the weight rating of the RX8's are stamped somehwere on the inner rim of the wheel snowy... If memory serves me correctly i think the rating was 590kg. (x's 4)

"BTW I did a little research into weight since I know that there could be concern over using car wheels on a van...."

But lots of people sy RX8 rims are fine.

Cheers Jaws, i just did a search to see the individual weight rating of the RX8 wheel... but to no avail...
