Bongo Fury

The brake warning light comes on when the handbrake is applied. So far so good. Under what other circumstances would it come on, yesterday we were making Stig Blomqvist-like progress across a decidedly wet & slippy Hardknott & Wrynose pass section in the Lakes and the brake light was coming on for a while, is this to do with brakes overheating, the ABS getting confused or something else?

Today is another day and normality has resumed

I take it you enjoyed Hardknott & Wrynose...... good isn't it....

Sometimes the Brake light comes on when fluid level is low....which it can get to as brake pads wear but with the ups and downs of Hardknott/Wrynose it could have illuminated on the steep inclines and decent

Could be that the brake fluid level is just a little bit low, I had this but only on a steep hill I park on.

Probably the steepness of the roads yesterday was enough to set it off.

Once I topped it up all has been OK for over a year.

I'd agree with the low fluid, sometimes caused just by pads being low. Certainly was the case with mine.
