That should stop the rear heater matrix freezing this winter  (or are you planning to duct the warm air into the van?) :D

No wonder I can never find my way around when I come over to 'The West'

Sounds great.... unfortunately already booked up that weekend  :( But we are planning a flyer down to Staveley later this month (weekend 26th I think) Not that we ever seem to see any bongos when we are in' The lakes'.

ps. Does LMAO stand for Lambrini, meatloaf and Orios? :D

Hogmany in Glencoe sounds great Chris but I would prefer the Camping and Caravan club site with electric hook up! Far too cold to be without my wee fan heater!

We stayed there for a night in mid October. Nice site, but it closes down over the winter (may already be closed , if not end of Nov). Star jumps and a wooly hat when you go to bed? :D

The redsquirrel campsite is supposed to be open all year round. Not holding my breath though. Tonight was pretty nippy!

Our camping plans are on hold to spring  especially as we have had over 6" of snow in the last two days  anyway the Bongo has been driving great in the snowy conditions due to a combination of torquey diesel engine, automatic gearbox and 4 new tyres.

Hope to meet up in the spring when we crawl out of hibernation

Chris, if you go to Glencoe, take plenty of whisky! You can light a fire with it!

I flew into Glasgow last night and David drove from Perth to pick me up. The only slightly skiddy bit was on our street which has over a foot of snow on it. but even then there was no worry. ~(our MX5 is standing about 6ft tall it has that much snow on it!)
