HELP urgent snow related problem

This is unbelievable, I got the bongo started after pushing most of the snow off the windscreen, but the wipers (left on from yesterday) still stuck on a bit of ice, so I stepped out to clear them, went to get back in again and the doors had locked them selves...... So it has now been sitting in the road running for over half an hour and i am getting to the point of putting a brick through the window.... does anyone have any better ideas than this? Other than plan ahead and buy another key obviously!

If anyone knows a non destructive way to break in it would probably be best to pm me....

Cheers
Steve

There a bit in the members area with a contact number for a member who knows how to get in the bongo for this type of issue.

There is no telephone number to ring, but you'll have to email him, the instructions are in the top tips section.

try and ease out the top rear corner of the door slightly and slide something in to stop the gap closing and with a long thin cane slide it through the gap and press the electric window down button....

Just to elaborate.. The wire from the alarm to the ignition telling status (maybe an optional TT?) may have failed, thinking the engine is tuned off, the door closed, lock?!! #-o

No elaborate alarm, just a keyfob remote, i can only imagine the surge when the wipers were freed caused the locks to close?

I like the window button idea....
