Any idea about tyre pressures for a set of Dunlop graspic ds1. 215/65r 15? Can you point me in the right direction. They're on a 2wd 2.5tdi tin top

You could try the pressures listed on the plate inside the passenger door frame.
I don't have those tyres, but run mine at 40psi all round. I would suggest trying 35 and adjusting them until it handles best

To be honest, it seems to be a case of suck it and see with tyre pressures on a Bongo - different makes seem to suit different pressures. How does it handle with 40psi? I thought snow tyres normally ran at a slightly lower pressure than normal, but I really haven't got a clue. Hopefully somebody with experience of snow tyres will be along shortly

I've read that snow tyres should be inflated to 2 psi higher than ordinary tyres - presumably because they generally run at a lower temperature.
I would try 36-37 psi all round and see how that works.

Thanks guys
it actually runs really well on these these tyres. Beter than the normal ones. I'll check the again and try a couple of extra psi. I can always deflate if the handling is bad

I run the Acceleras 215 x65x15 and run them at 34 psi seems ok to me. Bongo is 2.5 tin top.

Is modifying tyre pressure something we should tell our insurers about?

Only if you buy dodgy second-hand air on eBay!
