Bongo Fury

As my other car turns off the light automagically, I tend to forget to switch my Bongo lights off.

I thought the warning beep was disconnected, as the key-in-ignition beep also doesn't work. However: both warnings work just fine when the passenger door is open, but not when I open the driver side door.

Any thoughts? I found the forum threads mentioning the connector behind the steering column, but I would have thought that turns of the beeps completely not just one one side, right?

does the interior light work when you open the drivers door ?

may be connected to that switch ?

Where's that switch located? Can't see it in the dark, must try to find it tomorrow.

when you open the door, look down and you will see it, looks like a black plastic round peg sticking out, pushes in when the door closes

probably just a dirty contact

Ah, there's where the button is - I was looking for it on the door, d'oh!

Gotta try twiddling with it tomorrow. Bit dark now.

There's one screw holds it in place so it can earth to the panel... May just need a tighten.?

You're stars! Spot on, Hoptoad had a screw loose (just like her owner), failing to make contact. I used a slightly thicker screw - job's a good'un!
