Fog Light Fuse

Freda has unfortunately lost both fog lights. They are the original equipment type, recessed into the bumper not the after market type fitted to a bar. Given that they both failed at the same time, I'm guessing the problem is a blown fuse. Can anyone tell me the fuse type and colour/rating and where to find it please?

Might not be the fuse. Check for a white plastic connector - 2 wires in and 2 wires out, just under or around the main battery tray and behind the main headlamp. You might find either a faulty connection or a loose wire. Reconnect or replace the connectors if it looks suspect.

If it is that connection, its a bit fiddly to get in there, I ended up pulling out the headlamp unit - very easy to do, take off middle grill held in place by 4 plastic connectors, use a screwdriver to push the little lever before easing them out and then 4 nuts hold on plastic lens unit - don't bother disconnecting it just move it out of the way so you can get to the fog lamp wires.

It could be either of two fuses, the Fog lamp fuse itself is most likely;

but it could also be the fuse that operates the relay, but that also covers the Tail/Number & Sidelights, so if there out as well then its likely this one;

Cheers..

Thanks for the suggestions. Fuse OK. Sorry, DBO, if I wasn't such a muppet I would have seen which fuse it is, 'COS IT'S ONLY WRITTEN ON THE FUSE BOX!!! Can't see much wrong with the connector block or the wires in and out but gave them a jiggle anyway, to no avail. All the other lights work perfectly, so maybe it is the bulbs. Just seemed a bit of a coincidence. Will have a more thorough poke about when it stops raining. Thanks again everyone.

Connect an earth to the fog ststem and see if they come back on.
A wire to the holder from the chassis would do.
