new spare banjo filter? is there one on return banjo

What ever i try just can seem to clean mine off fully,
mine has gone kina rusty ish,
also is there one on the return outlet on pump

Try some Cillit Bang Grime and Lime - put banjo fitter in bottom of cup, spray with the grime and lime stuff and leave for 30 minutes or so. A gentle rub with toothbrush, rinse in fresh water and mine came up like new.

The acid in the grime and lime is quite strong and eats the brown stuff (you can see it fizzing off....).

i cleaned it with acetone,worked ok but will try your trick next time.thaks for that !!
