Going up...

Howdy all, and a Happy New Year to you.

We have finally decided that the 10cm of ground clearance under our v6 has got to be increased! Trouble is, we have no idea what suspension specification we should be looking at to revert us back to "original" as it was already lowered when we bought it.

We also want to ditch our bad boy bodykit, which has had a few knocks over the past year, and were wondering if anybody can recommend a reasonable place to get an "original", or if anybody wants ours (I can send photos) Any experiences or advice gratefully received!

I'm pretty sure that once spotted there will be no shortage of offers to do a straight swap for your lowering springs for a set of originals! :D On your sig it says you have a 2000 model bongo? Is the bodykit like this?

If so, the splitter on the front bumper can be removed without the need to replace the bumper, likewise, the sideskirts, and (if fitted) The rear bumper "bibs" can be removed also. Again, the kit is very sought after, and i don't think it would be cluttering up your shed for very long!

Hi,

The kit attached (before the wheels were changed, after we just bought the van, and yesterday) is shown in the photo's below. It doesn't look like the one you posted but I guess there are a number of aftermaket options in Japan. The most irritating thing is that the whole thing just pops on over the existing trim, no need for replacement bumpers! Should have taken it off when it was brand spanking new! #-o

Still, means I don't need any replacement parts which is a good thing. =D>
