Ive got a numax l110 LB and I'm charging it up using my battery charger. There's a setting on my charger for a 'gel cell' or a 'normal'. Does anyone know which setting it should be on? Does it make a difference?

The Numax L110 is a standard Lead Acid whilst Gel Lead Acid batteries are sealed with a pressure relief valves.
The charger will use a slightly higher charging voltage and current for standard batteries whilst it is important to keep the current slightly less in the Gel types as if they start to gas to much then you will cause the valves to open to vent the excess pressure, once the gasses are lost then they can't be replaced by more liquid and the cells will loose performance.
So for a Numax you can use the standard setting.

No, no mention of gel at all on the battery.
