Bongo Fury

Noticed a rust spot right in the centre of my roof whilst sorting out our bungalows guttering. What would be the best way to treat this - DIY or pay someone to get it fixed proffesionally ?

Would you use a specific product ? I have just had a look at products available and its mind boggling !
Of course i dont want to make things worse....

Flat it back with medium grade sand paper to good clean metal, wipe it over with thinners to degrease the area, dry with clean paper towel, then a few light coats of finegans rust eater undercoat leave the under coat a week to harden then key it with a very fine sandpaper degrease with thinners then apply the top coat, don't rush it or do it in sub zero temperatures and it'll come out ok

The whole lot shouldnt cost more than £30 from halfrauds, if i was nearer then i'd do it for ya
