What a difference a new set of glow-plugs makes

Just fitted some new glow-plugs, solved all our lumpy starting problems. Starts like a dream now. Fiddly but not too hard a job and managed to do it all from the drivers side without taking out the central cover. Just unplugged and removed the vacuum solenoids and that gave enough room to get the plugs out with a box spanner. One hour well spent!

Yep i done mine on saturday and as you rightly point out the centre panel can stay in place, took me 2 hours start to finish with a tea stop and a blast round my brothers to reclaim my little socket set as i needed a 7mm deep socket to do up the glow plug rail nuts, its a great feeling when you start it up and there's no chugging of noxious fumes, once i'd done mine i washed it all down and took it for a blast, that was saturday afternoon, it didn't get used sunday and when i went to work in her today she started and ran like a dream, defo worth the £32 for the parts =D>
