Exhaust back box

Hi

I've managed to obtain, with Bigdaddycain's help, a second hand but good stainless steel back box for my exhaust. I have a friend who will be able to fit it but needs whatever he needs to fix it with. Until I have access to the package, I'm not sure whether there's anything with the back box.

Does this make sense to anyone please? #-o

Can someone please help a total dumdum with the right words to be able to get the right bits to fit it to the existing centre section?

I've tried to make sense of the diagrams of the exhaust system on BF but it's all gobbledegook to me.

Baz - Your bods quoted me £250.00 in response to my request for a quote - but I can't get it to B'ham at the moment anyway. Worth knowing about for the future though 8)

If you managed to save the two rubber hanging mounts when you removed the old box they can be re-used, and you will need a clamp.

Again it may be possible to re-use the old one, it will most likely be at the rear of the broken pipe. It will help removal if you can spray some WD40 or similar onto the bolts before your friend arrives to do the job.

Otherwise these clamps can be had from any accessory shop. Hope that helps Jill. :)

Cheers Bob. Thanks for helping a numpty!

I'll spray the clamp under the bongo tomorrow in readiness.
