HELP: AFT now down, but which fuse stops bleeper?

Phew - got my AFT down after removing motors but not fully locked and so the dreaded beeper is continuing to sound. Tried removing Fuse 12 (2nd row, 4th from left and said to control AFT) but it still beeps. Don't fancy having to drive to Bury with that racket going on. Anyone able to advise on which fuse to remove or w.h.y. (couldn't find the answer on Search)?

Thanks chums. These Bongos eh- who'd have 'em

Try this Mike http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... ep#p429322 although I think it stops all the beeps - I don't think there is a specific fuse

I am pretty sure it stops everything but the roof beep

No single Fuse will stop the Bleeper, and if you remove both then other vital parts of the vehicle won't have power!
Best bet would be to unplug the Bleeper unit itself!

Thanks Geoff. It looks (from the other post as per link above) that nothing stops the roof beeper. Perhaps I'll try wedging something in the roof microswitch so it thinks the roof is closed - any thoughts on that?

It looks like you're right  - perhaps this thread can help as it says where the beeper is [-o<

Yes you could wedge in the microswitches, but I think if you remove the plastic trim down by the drivers feet (offside) you can unplug the bleeper itself!
There is a picture of the unit it might be in the Factsheets but I can't see it on the forum at the moment.
