Tyre aspects ?

Hello ..
I need 2 new front tyres - currently my tyres are 195/70 r15 97T front and back 215/65 R15 100T, reading here ive heard the accelera tyres are a good budget recommendation but they don't do these exact sizes, so would it matter if the aspect changed slightly to say 195/65 or 55 ??
Also to add currently on the speedo i get 80 on the dash and just over 70 on the sat nav is this what effects it ?
cheers.

If yours is 2WD it won't matter, but it could wreck the viscous coupling on a 4WD.
Just put 215/65 all round - loads of people have

Hi
I need new tyres all around on mine, its still got japanese tyres on , the treads are ok but they're all cracked round the edges which is a bit

only noticed the other day when I put air in.
But being not particularly 'up' on this sort of thing I don't know what size is on there, or what size to buy. Whereas my other cars have got the sizes/numbers written on the tyres these don't seem to?
If I take it to a tyre place will they know? Plus I have no idea if I have different ones on the back than the front etc..
any help appreciated!!

I have this as well, speedo says 55 and actually only doing 50! not sure what causes this as it has done it since buying it straight from import. I was wondering if the right MPH dial had been fitted??

Speedos almost always over-read

Just fit bigger tyres when next needed

Hi,
I also am unsure what to do! I need 2 new tyres for my 2wd Freda (side conversion). Currently have 215/60 16 on the rear and 205/60 16 on the front. Need 1 new back tyre and 1 new front tyre. After reading various posts think I am going to replace all four with 215/60 16. This seems to be what most people advise is this correct? Therefore when done will have one good used 215/60 16 tyre left. Can I put this on a 16" steel and use as a spare, if yes where can i get a steel wheel that fits and from what vehicle and will it still fit underneath like the current skinny spare. Any advice appreciated.
Many thanks

215/60x16s are fine. A spare with those tyres will fit underneath, but I haven't got a clue which 16" wheel you need to buy

Just make sure it has 5 stud holes, a PCD of 114.3mm and a centre bore of 67.1mm.
This site will let you see which wheels have the right PCD etc (mainly Mazda, Hyundai and Kia), but it doesn't show the wheel sizes

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, have now decided on 215/60 16 all round and will keep my eyes open for a suitable 16" steel to use as a spare.
Cheers

Have just had a full set of 215/60 R16 99w XL Marangoni Verso tyres fitted at £66.00 a tyre. Seemed a decent trade of between cost and quality as they are meant to be a mid range tyre as opposed to a budget tyre. I am now trying to find a suitable 16" steel to put the decent old tyre on as a spare and this is proving more difficult. So if anyone knows what particular 16" steel will fit any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
