Re: Bongonaut of the Year
Is this First Past The Post or the Alternative Vote.......
It's just when most ballots for leadership of Unions and Political parties, clubs & societies take place including the Conservatives who are very Anti AV....... the AV vote is used....you put the nominated candidates in order of preference.....

This is a benign dictatorship. I will carefully consider all the nominations posted here, and also received by email, will then make a judgement, and award it to the person who gives me the most cold beers at the Bongo Bash.....

This is now biased in favour of those who have booked hook-up.
You will need it to cool the beers.

I think they are a special case, and should get a Lifetime Award for Services to Bongography and for their superb Bongologues. The ghost of Eammon Andrews should leap out from hiding in the marquee at a Bongo Bash, and surprise them with it.JDS wrote:Team Muz for us

Well if you're seconding it, I'll third it. Their services to Bongologistics and the Bongo Benevolent fund (from which I have personally benefitted) should be added to the Special Award plaque.Northern Bongolow wrote:JDS wrote:Team Muz for us

They've probably also - bar none, and through their posts and pics on here - done more for the image of the Bongo as a rugged, reliable and practical touring camper and everyday car than anyone else on this forum. And they've perfectly illustrated to the world that Bongo owners are mad, but nicely mad as opposed to bad mad. And they've put in long service too.
Really, it should be a no brainer

How about the Flash In The Pan who was here to help us a while back?

An that will be a sixth from me.
Outstanding effort in all ways. Nothing is ever to much trouble for this family. Very much appreciated in this camp.
While I have an opportunity to thank you here, I WILL.

I say everyone deserves to be voted, you have all helped others when and if you can, and you've all helped to make this site what it is...a great place to be.
Having said that, I've just emailed my vote for a member.
