Short story from York Meet

At the tough northerners i took a day trip into York where i found this
enchanting little church 200 yards from the great Minster.
It was an oasis of calm and tranquility in the middle of a bustling city
with its quaint family pews and simple serenity.
I sat on a bench for ten minutes taking in the peace and quiet.
Then i noticed a little old man crouching at one of the ancient gravestones.
"Morning" i Chirped cheerily.
"No" he replied "Trying to have a s##t so eff off".
Spoiled it a bit.
