My Bongo has been standing idle for the last month.
Today tried to put the roof up, pressed the up button nothing happened not even the beeping sound.
fuses seem ok,any ideas of the problem would be much appreciated.

Yes indeed. It might really help other owners to know how you solved it, if you were able to find a moment to post details.
And an excellent result - well done

Aha, thanks. Sounded for a moment like it was something to do with the roof microswitches, which I'd not heard of affecting operation before!

Yep I thought the same, I hoped someone had found a way to get at the switches without taking the roof off as a mate of mine is going to get rid of his Bongo rather than spend £300 having the roof removed.

Tell him not to do that!!! Get him to phone Adrian at JapImports in Bury (0161-763-3003 from memory but google it) is becoming very practised at fixing Bongo roofs (he's done mine twice now) and will most likely charge you a great deal less than that (unless there is some especially expensive parts issue outside his control). A great guy to deal with on all Bongo matters.
