On our R&R (not Elite) it was a combination of the Pins that engaged in the runners and the springs that held the Pins in the locked position, some heat shrink tubing on the pins stopped the metal on metal noises and some Gaffer Tape around the springs stopped them rattling whilst still letting them act as springs. Now there is only an occasional bird like chirp which the next pot-hole normally cures

Hi
Squeaky beds get less common as you get older.
Cheers

The trick is to be making more noise in bed than the bed itself makes, then you won't notice it. Try not to get anything delicate caught in the hinges though
PS - or you could get tinnitus like I have, then you don't have to listen to anything else

been watching this waiting for the smut to fly.
I took the boards of the back. Put the foam that you get for draft excluding around doors and windows. Then screwed down the boards back.
sprayed grease into the area's that move.
After that had to check that board's on the front where not loose and put some extra screw's

to stop any rattles. Also notice the board was rubbing against the side of the van. So took it off and cut it to fit.
best of luck. Found it was a process over 3 months of finding rattles and noises and fixing them one by one. Fix one and another one seems to be as loud as the last one,
Or it's a hip replacement that is squeeking
