Thanks Jo for another belting weekend up in Allithwaite. It was so good I apparently aged 10 years and am now classed as a 'senior' and got into the steam rally cheaper than the others

Many thanks to Jo and Chris for sorting this meet,it was fantastic, and Jo booked the weather for us,it couldnt have been better if we were on the Costa Del Sol
Karen,Tom actually DID selflessly sample the local hostelry for you,but only after your post,as you made him feel guilty
Sadly no photos of the steam gathering from me,as I couldnt walk round the site, but Ill post few of the meet tomorrow.
Jo,very impressed with the Bongo replacement
Good to see old and new friends again.....well done all

Well done to Jo & Chris for another entertaining family weekend at Allithwaite.

From Old Man Blobber (he just keeps rolling) to Oz's tinies everyone seemed to be having a loverly chilled out time.

Apologies to anyone I didn't see much of or kept awake with my night choking sessions but I wasn't at my best. Hay Fever/Resp Tract infection really knocked me flat.

This really is a superb venue for meets or simply as a stop off for members wanting a few night away with all the dosh going to charity.

cheers

oh well back to the grind today such an anti climax -i think the site would benefit from a full time resident warden -especially with all the old folks around

Nice pics Brian :) It was a shame we could only stay the one night but hey - at least one is better than none. It was great to see you all again - sorry we never got to say goodbye but we had to leave whilst most of you were at the steam gathering.

See y'all soon
