Not quite sure about what the Bongo will tow weight wise but if you didn't pass your driving test pre 1997 then you are limited to 750kg's I think ( I hope that's right [-o< ). There are many on here who tow large caravan's and boat's so I would think the towing capabilities are quite big weight wise. I'm sure someone will be along with more figure's soon. :D

We tow 1000Kg with ease (v6), others tow up to 1600kg's I belive (again with no problems).....The Bongo is a very good towing vehicle....( I would not include the 2lt petrol in that statement)

I tow a 1232kg Elddis with our 2.5 td no problems and a nice 55-60 mph steady journey. MPG drops to about 22mpg from 25 -30.

Have a look at the data sheet in the members area if you're a member (and if not, pay your money cos it's well worth it!). As a rule of thumb you can tow a maximum of 85% of the vehicle weight which is approximately 1500kg (1.5Te)
