Did you know that not too long ago a mean blighter actually stole the chain from the chain walk to sell as scrap metal ?

On the last set of chains. No idea who ???

I think the only person who you can make out in that photo is David, who had left the pub to come and check that you guys were ok! He was like a worried parent checking his watch and was not happy until he was happy you were all safe

Nice to meet so many old and new faces and hopefully will meet more before too long :D

Yes we were getting a bit concerned about the light.

Seem to remember Paul muttering something about yellow helicopters. Perhaps he wanted to meet a Prince.

Shhh now Chrisie [-X , can't have you disturbing the bingo

Was good to catch up with the old faces and meet a few new ones as well. Hopefully we'll manage to get together for another meet later in the year.

Here's a photo of the campsite that we took earlier in the day from the top of the walk over to Elie where we had a rather nice lunch in The Ship Inn.

Can you spot your Bongo. Ours is easy to spot next to the toilet block.

Hannah - you did so well! I'll fetch you a length of chain as a souvenir, next time I'm down passing Elie! =D> =D>

Yes, we cut it fine with the daylight and we did it in the wet, but it was a cracking walk, a great group and what a day to remember! Many thanks and much respect to all involved (expedition and support!).

I hope to see you all again.

Matt.

Hi All,
We called in after picking up our Bongo from Bill - not many of you around at mid-day so we said hello to a few we could find and then had a bowl of soup in the cafe.

The weather wasn't up to much so we left and headed for St. Andrews. Saw a few on the road there and I think it was Bongo Master who gave up his parking space outside of the police station for us when we arrived - thanks :D

Catch up with you all another time

Regards Grahame
