Fitting Wing Mirror

Well the wing mirror from Bell Hill turned up this morning, really good nick, hardly a mark on it.
Took the cover and external bolts off, unclipped the door trim off and all the screws ants the internal bolt, but can't find the plug for the electrics.
Do I have to take the plastic sheet off or is it behind the metal strip that is held on with a bolt at the top??

Also got the dent out of the wing from a mobile guy, really good job, if anyone needs any work done in the Leeds/Wakefield area I'm happy to pass his details on.

for the wires lift the plastic sheet at the front edge of the door,(watch the black sticky s*ite) the wires are about 12 inches long and are usually inside the door on a plug.

there are 2 types of mirror and plug.
one just moves the head/glass. and the other folds in electrically.
maybe you have one of each now 8) 8) .
from memory the manual mirrors have 4 wires,up /down/left/ right. i would imagine the lecky fold will have more wires, but ive never had a lecky fold one off so cannot help sorry.

Job done, found the White plugs, slightly inside the inner metalwork of the door under the plastic, held in by a black plastic stud (I only saw the blue plugs before, are they for windows??)
All working well.
Anyone need electrics or glass in the future, I'll keep hold of the old D/S mirror.
