Nantcol Waterfalls

I know that there was a Bongo meet here earlier this year but we couldn't go to that as we were elsewhere but it looked so good that we decided to give it a go.

What a site =D> =D>

This must be one of the best sites we have stayed at.

The site is between Harlech and Barmouth and, as the name suggests, has a river with rapids and pools running through it.
There is a small shop open late that sells, amongst other things, wood for the campfires, hot drinks, ice creams, etc.
It is very informal site but really clean and everyone seems very respectful of everyone else.
The kids had an absolute ball playing from early till late, in the river, on the rope swings, you name it.
If any kid-free adults are nervous of the site, don't be, it's such a chilled atmosphere that anyone could relax, kids or no kids.
The day ended with a campfire, marshmallows, bbq/Cobb and some beers (for the adults).

Arrived after one of the many work weeks from Hell and left totally chilled.

It is one of the few sites that we would deffo return too.

If in doubt, give Nantcol a go....you won't regret it 8)

After a couple of days at Nantcol, this is the evidence for how to make your children sleep.
Packed up around him and he still slept all the way home in the Bongo.

Next week we are off to the Hebrides, lets hope it's half as much fun.
