I used the Transit ones. Well, I got a mate of mine in the trade to use them. The end result is good but he did say he had to do quite a bit to get them to fit nicely. I'm no expert on these things but a few club members have looked at the job and said how good it looks. I suppose anything that isn't a factory replacement will need some sort of modification. All I can say is that I'm pleased with mine.

I'd say any alternative arches that cut down on the prep time is a good thing. M80, why not hang fire on the arch choice till Stuc reports back his findings? At the moment the Merc arches appear a better arch shape, but could have hidden terrors fitting wise... Stuc appears to have great bodywork skills, and i'm sure he'll report back in due course on whether the merc over transit arches are worthwile [-o<

Thanx for the replies guys, yet again top quality advise, my painter can't do the job until mid august anyways, so its not life or death at the mo + he's a very versitile guy at welding and fabricating he even suggested fabricating then from scratch  but i've said that shouldn't be necessary

I'd keep checking back on the thread M80... I'm sure Stuc will be along soon enough with his findings once he's got round to doing his. [-o< (no pressure Stuc!)
