Bongo Fury

Hi,
Need some help if possible please.
I was fitting a mason alarm this morning. Got the clocks out but noticed that a black box that I now know is a Mhp converter with many of its wires hanging out and not connected other than the yellow, so I need to reconnect it.
I assume that they weren't fixed in well and as all of them bar the yellow have come out I have no idea how they should be connected!
I've reattached the green earth as that was obvious but I'm unclear as to where the Red and Blue get connected to.
The box is a CK-UN-09 unit.

So as I say I have the Red and Blue to connect and I have two terminals that they should go to on the back of the speedo, SP+ and IG.
I know from the black box that Red should go to +12V so I assume this should go to IG, being IGNITION??
And the box says that Blue should go to the MPH signal outout, so I assume that this will be SP+???

Can anyone confirm please?

Can't help with the wiring but have a trawl around breakers/ebay for a pre '98 626 or MX6 speedo. They are a straight fit, read in MPH and clock in miles. Look for GA5R stamped in white at the bottom of the face.

Should be less than a tenner & saves a fair bit of hassle.

Thanks but I really just want to connect the two wires that have come out.... can't see how getting to a breakers, finding a speedo, removing this one and fitting the new one, is simpler than connecting two wires!

Good point but chipped speedos often cause other problems as well. Someone will be along to help with the wiring issue before long but stick a GA5R on your Round Tuit list all the same.

You only need 3 connections for basic chips, 12v (which you identified as IG), 0v which is marked sp- and clock speed input which is marked sp+ (speed output from the converter), the fourth connection is in the loom and is speed input to the converter
